In Commemoration of the 117th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, the Philippines Cultural Pista ng Bayan Society in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver presents Pista ng Bayan Community Picnic 2015:
When: SATURDAY, JUNE 6 2015 9am-5pm
Where: Slocan Park in Vancouver (2750 E29th Ave).
Monsoon Society (maelstrom) will share a tent and table at this event with other non-profits involved in promoting SE Asian cultural arts. We will be offering interactive martial arts demos and training. So come on out for a day in the park or drop by at any time, we will play, train, eat delicious Filipino food, and celebrate 117 years of independence for the Philippines.
