Dave actively trains Dog Brothers Martial Arts and is currently ranked Guro (2nd hagdan) in Pekiti-Tirsia System of Kali under Tuhon Loki Jorgenson at maelstrom Martial Arts.  He operates and provides training from Atlantic maelstrøm based in Nova Scotia.

He has trained in seminar with Tuhon  Philip Gelinas, Grand Tuhon  Leo T. Gaje jr., Ajahn Stephen Wilson, and Guro Dan Inosanto.

HISTORY

Dave Duchene has been training one martial art or another since childhood.  He attained 2nd Dan in Uechi-Ryu while training under Master Bob Kehayes at the Halifax Karate Academy,and also has spent notable time on Mande Muda Pencak Silat, Tracy’s Kenpo, Aikai Aikido, Jukai Jitsu, and Chito Ryu Karate.

Dave has been training in Pekiti-Tirsia Kali, as well as other arts at maelstrøm, since 2006 and attained his current ranking Pekiti-Tirsia Kali in 2018.
