These masks beg the question– if you are going up against an opponent and you have the opportunity to set a tone at the offset by painting your mask, what kind of strategy would you go for? A superhero?
Would you try to creep your opponent out, at least a little bit?
Or just scare the living daylight out of them?
There are so many options- old high school mascot? (with fangs)
Would you attempt to make yourself appear invulnerable?
Or completely vulnerable? (And who could hit this face?)
