2025/2026 maelstrøm Memberships at AD

To Start Kali training at maelstrøm – check out the introductory kali short course:

• Take the Maelstrøm Start Kali short course ($149 – see sign up below)
  • A 6-class introductory kali course on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm runs for 3 weeks
  • Starts on the first Tuesday or Thursday of each month
  • See below the calendar for pencak silat
• Then, after the short course, join Academie Duello as a member and get equipped for regular kali classes
  • One-time membership ($99) – waived with 6- or 12-month commitment
    • Receive a maelstrom T-shirt, trainer knife, safety glasses, training manual
  • Rattan sticks and other gear available to borrow or sold separately
• Then, you are eligible for
  • Access to monthly or multi-month tuition, or drop-in cards
  • Access to all classes on the schedule, privates, and special training events
    • Good for all Academie Duello and maelstrom classes

NOTE: For pencak silat, book a trial class and select Sunday as the day.

NOTE: All maelstrom classes are 90 minutes (AD classes are typically 60 minutes)

Monthly Tuition

After completing your introductory course, you have full access to all classes and events. Most classes are 1 credit. Privates are available for 10 minutes per credit.

• Drop-in card (10 credits non-expiring) – $245 (20 and 40 credit cards available)
• BASIC – Monthly 10 credits – $199 (1 month) / $189 (6 months) / $179 (12 months)
• STANDARD – Monthly 18 credits – $239 / $220 / $219
• ELITE – Monthly 25 credits – $289 / $279 / $269
