This years event is taking place on Saturday, January 24,  2015.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/maelstromcore.com\/sandbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/DSC_0385-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0385-1024x682\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4890\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maelstromcore.com\/sandbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/DSC_0385-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/maelstromcore.com\/sandbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/DSC_0385-1024x682-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As its name suggests, the Festival combines the themes of \u201cLight\u201d using fire, lanterns, candles and installations in the Park that glow with light in the dark; \u201cWater\u201d which is the rain, pools, ponds and the underground stream running through the park; and \u201cDrums\u201d, the joyful noise of celebrations!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/maelstromcore.com\/sandbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/DSC_0463.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0463\" width=\"640\" height=\"797\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4891\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maelstromcore.com\/sandbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/DSC_0463.jpg 640w, https:\/\/maelstromcore.com\/sandbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/DSC_0463-240x300.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>maelstrom has annually provided a number of volunteers for installation, setup, security and public safety.
