Overview: Hanna, a 15 year old who has been trained in the wilderness since the age of two by her father, an ex CIA agent, as an assassin. Her mark is a CIA operative named Marissa Wiegler, who once alerted to the fact that Hanna and her father are alive will stop at nothing to kill them. When Hanna is ready she flicks the switch on a beacon that will alert the CIA to her presence and she and her father part ways to meet in Berlin. Along the way she encounters the modern world for the first time, hearing music and traveling with a family on a road trip.
Rating: 7.8/10 – this is a very good movie overall. Quirky and unusual in its timing and plot development, it may not appeal to the conventional N. American viewer. But it is definitely a good movie – plus it shows some reasonably good kali scenes. The sinawali practice in the woods is a bit elementary but it is recognizable at least. The knife scenes are better.
