It runs in multiple cities across the globe in the first (or second) weekend in November.  Following Dog Brothers ethos, but lowering the bar to allow more people to participate and fund-raise, this stick-fighting event is a great opportunity for anyone with the courage to fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>To Participate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All participants must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Register for the event<\/li><li>Register as a member of the BTCOOC XIII fund-raising team<\/li><li>Complete a waiver onsite &#8211; Academie Duello 412 West Hastings, Vancouver BC<\/li><li>Pay $25 onsite (funds apart from donations to help defray the costs of the event)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/cCvG4sNySaskEkaj8\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Register for BTCOOC XIII<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/bdf49uwv\"><strong>Register at BC Cancer Foundation<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>To Donate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/bdf49uwv\">BC Cancer Foundation<\/a><\/strong> and search on your favorite fighter by name, team, or just DONATE!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BTCOOC is an opportunity for stick fighters to participate in a non-competitive sparring event.  Each bout is chosen by the participants including who they fight, what implements they use, what level of vigor, and what ancillary rules are to be applied (ex. no grappling or no throwing).  A referee ensure that the agreed constraints are observed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTE:  Due to C-19 considerations, observers will be limited to protect participants and support team.
