Daniel Lonero, the only practitioner to be awarded all instructor certifications from the Inosanto Academy, will in Vancouver for a two-day seminar February 16th and 17th at Ancient Fire , from 11am-4pm each day. Topics to be covered include Filipino Martial Arts, Jeet Kune Do, silat, and more.
There are no one-day options for this seminar; the fee for the weekend is $300. Please show up ready to train, and with equipment: training knives, sticks, gloves, shin guards and focus mitts. Cross Training Martial Arts (XTMA) training include high levels of physicality coupled with theoretical paradigms aiming to magnify the depths and efficiency of each art. When training, “the goal is not the mere accumulation of knowledge” in the words of Guro Dan Inosanto, but rather the provision of research tools to learn about the art of fighting in its totality and ultimately achieve self-discovery.
